Joe Cuff and his dog, Sadie, also known as the "best dog ever," are your guides on your Wilderness Trek of McIntyre Mountain. Licensed by the DCNR, he provides escorted hikes on several trails in the vicinity as well as many others in the Northcentral Pennsylvania region.

Joe will escort you to the Ghost Town of McIntyre, once a bustling mining community, or take you on a shorter hike to Dutchman's Run Falls, said to be the second highest in Pennsylvania.

Joe is an avid pheasant hunter, which normally requires walking many miles per day. He occasionally hikes and hunts with friends, but his constant companion is his Chocolate Lab, Sadie.

He retired from Lycoming Engines in Williamsport as mechanical designer. He moved to the mountains and became interested in hiking because he lives next to 6,000 acres of state forest land. He enjoys the serenity and learning about the rich history of the area.

LOCATION: Ralston, PA is located approximately 25 miles north of Williamsport along Route 14. The General Store is located on Thompson Street next to the bank.
